About Me
I currently am a high school social studies teacher at an alternative school for 11th and 12th grade. I love it! I feel like I am actually making a difference in some of the kids lives. I can't image doing anything else for a career!
When I'm not busy with work, I love watching movies, going to concerts, taking walks around a lake, swimming, and hitting up the bar scenes on weekends with friends. I enjoy having fun, trying new things and love good conversation.
As far as music goes, my tastes are very diverse! I love the Beatles, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Katy Perry, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Lupe Fiasco, etc. I have quite the list of bands I have seen and only hope to increase it as time goes on! I was a band nerd in high school and college and played the drums so it has given me serious respect for live music!
I'm a smart woman who is very down-to-earth. I love watching sports such as hockey and football so get ready for a girl who enjoys a bit of playful competition! I was raised in a family where Husker football was a way of life! College and Pro-football are awesome! You have to be able to keep up with a girl who likes to whoop and holler for her teams!
As far as what I'm looking for, I am looking for someone who is easy to talk to and get along with. Someone with similar interested and wants in life are a must as well. I am looking for dating and maybe eventually a relationship, but don't mind meeting friends either! Afterall, most people say you end up marrying your best friend. What I am not looking for is a booty call, so if that is what you are after, step off. I'm a nice girl with morals, yet I have a wild side as well. I may come off as a bit shy at first, but just give me that chance to warm up to you.
