I'm going to do an exact copy from my current another dating site site profile. So... forgive the formatting:
I am an American mut but I take the most pride in being Italian. I find it most prominent in my appearance and attitude. What can I say, I'm a romantic.
I have a seemingly unending need to play or listen to music. It is my life! I think I'm a decent singer and will sing along if I like what's playing. Karaoke is always a blast, but I also enjoy learning different songs on bass or writing my own if inspired.
I am immensely loyal to my friends and loved ones. Honesty is incredibly important to me and communication is key. If you don't say what's on your mind, it can turn out for the worst. Being 100% faithful goes right into that, as does trust.
If you have any other questions, let me know.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a happy member of Winchester ammunition's IT department. Though I'm not thrilled to be working for a company that produces ammunition, I enjoy working on technology and helping people. I'm working at expanding my knowledge in that field. I also just recently purchased a house!
I also am going to go back to college to finish the degree I started. I have a career plan and though I find our education system and its payoff a little lackluster, I know having a degree opens more doors. I always love to learn though so don't discredit me for not having a degree. A college degree does not mean that you are intelligent, nor does a lack of a degree mean you are not intelligent. I can think of many examples of both of these actually.
Anyway, enough ranting. To sum up what I'm doing with my life in a more cohesive thought:
I am fixing my grandparents old house (the one I bought) as I couldn't see it leave our family. While I'm doing this, I work in IT and will soon be re-enrolling in school to finish my degree.
I’m really good at:
I've been told that I'm very easy to talk to, which I like. I'm also apparently gifted in music, at least to some extent. I know there are plenty better musicians out there than I but performing is a passion of mine. I'm also pretty good at games, video, board or otherwise.
The first things people usually notice about me:
Probably my high hairline, heh. I buzz my hair at least once a week to keep it under control.
I've been told that I speak very well and that I'm witty. I like that.
People also seem to like my eyes and I like that too :)
After that... well... you tell me :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't read too much. As dorky as it may seem, I enjoy playing out a story through a video game. As the industry has evolved, games have epic stories these days. Immersing oneself in a video game is tantamount to doing the same in a book for me.
Movies... sooooo many. All time favorite though: Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas. I am a sucker for that dark type of scenery and add in the fact that the movie is great musically... it's been my favorite since I first saw it as a child. Honestly, if you name a movie, I will probably have seen it too and can name at least a few things about it that I've enjoyed. I would be the worst critic when it came to these.
Shows: Dexter, True Blood, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Psych, Drinking Made Easy, The Walking Dead, Being Human, I'm sure there are more but those are the big ones that come to mind.
Music: older Breaking Benjamin, older Reel Big Fish, Slipknot, Cee Lo Green, Mumford and Sons, AWOLNATION, Seether, Gustav Holst, Staind, Ill Nino, A Day to Remember, System of a Down, Michael Buble, older Zebrahead, That Handsome Devil, The Used, Motion City Soundtrack, Incubus... there are very many to list here too.
I like bands more so than the genres they are classified under, though I would imagine most people are like that. I have some off the wall tastes in music though so if you don't like some of the bands I listen to, I will neither be surprised nor get bent out of shape about it.
Food: Anything made by my grandma, but aside from that, Italian is the best. I love food though so I can get down on pretty much anything.
The six things I could never do without
1. My Family - they are my foundation
2. My Friends - they keep me occupied
3. Music - I have to have it, simply put.
4. Laughter - The best medicine!!
5. The internet - I can't even remember what it was like without it now...
6. Science - A broad answer, but I love to read about anything involving science.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The mysteries of the universe!! Well... sometimes. Most of the time, my mind is playing songs when I'm not listening to them. Aside from that, I think of things I need to do for the house at the moment. Also, just things I need to do in general; ways to improve me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either I'm out with my friends (wherever that may take us) or I'm home at my computer. Just depends on what is on the agenda. With the house, I have people over more often than I did at my apartment.
We're typically playing Rock Band, some sort of drinking game, pool, or just hanging out talking. I enjoy the former and the latter most.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will be honest about any questions one has to ask of me. I live my life like an open book. Frankly, its easier that way.
Seems like I'm looking for myself but aren't we all just looking for a reflection of ourselves in another?
