About Me
Greetings and salutations!
Moved here to help out the parents retirement plans (ie, they started a berry farm). So I started a new job, helped to start a berry farm, beekeeping, and little league baseball. Been here little over 4 years now and would like to look for someone to spend some quality time.
I was a US Marine. Spent time overseas and found there is no place better than the USA. I enjoy doing all sorts of stuff, but have found they are more enjoyable with someone you care about.
I like kicking back to listen to some music (classic rock is my favorite though), reading (a wide variety), or camping. Can't say that I am too much into the bar scene anymore, but then again, really haven't had anyone to actually enjoy it with... so that may be part of the problem.
I am very easy going and can find the humor in almost anything (yes, even the things you will groan over then tell me to STFU) and can be a major smart-arse at times.
I love to play basketball and baseball/softball. (and as above, coach) I am involved in martial arts.
I am trying to quit smoking. Not having great success with it though....
I blew out my knee in the Corps (hence the slightly bent) and the other is nearly as bad, so please don't ask me to run a marathon with you. Still, I am up for hiking or walking all around a park or the town (or the mall *sigh* yes, I did just say that). It does make staying in shape rather rough, but hey, need to try, right? If you aren't improving, what are you doing?
Who I am looking for will be multifaceted...
Honest. Someone who can be a true friend and can not only hold me when I am hurting, but let me know when I am being a fool and still love me for it.
Adventurous. Someone who will not only let me con her into trying something new, but will try to con me into stuff also.
Demanding. Not not, "fetch me a whatever" demanding... demanding in that you won't let me settle for anything not to our liking. That you will help to push us towards our goal, not lay in the cart cracking the whip while I toil away...
I guess I am looking for someone who will make me want to treat her as a lady, make me WANT to make her proud of me, and do all the things we like to do.

First Date
Something that allows us to get to know each other but not put pressure on either of us. Maybe a ball game (hockey is starting up soon), head out to a local park (caverns in KY? Falls Creek Falls?), maybe hit up some of the local museums (been wanting to go to the Frist), or Shakespeare in the Park? Bring some food, have a little picnic, and enjoy the show... The ZOO!!! Yikes! So much to do and no one to do it with... yet.
