July:I put race fairings on the Yamaha R1. Tried out drag racing at Renegade. That was fun. I can't wait to go again. 134mph 11.1sec. Not bad.
August: Took the R1 to Spokane to race it on the road course up there. What a blast! Had it up to almost 160 in the straights. I finally found out that there's a speed that almost scares me. I'm definitely going back.
November: What a fun year it's been so far. Lots of riding, changed job assignments to get off of rotating shift, made some new best friends.
The race bike is put away, and the street bike is torn apart for maintenance. I need things to do.
Hi! Is there a sub-genre of guy that's half nerd, half sports nut? That's me. I'm perfectly content outdoors, playing some football or riding my sport bike, or staying inside playing tabletop games like Cards Against Humanity or DnD.
I helped raise 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls. They are all adults now, but I'm not quite empty nested.

I love to get out and ride my motorcycle when I can. Riding is my therapy. A good ride clears my head and resets my attitude.

I don't like talking politics. My opinion is my own, and I find no value in trying to convince anyone that what I believe is more correct than their own beliefs.
I am a bit socially awkward. Not good in large groups. One on one, I have to remind myself to let the other person get a word in.
I don't have any tattoos. I'm not against them, I just haven't taken the plunge.
I'm a grandfather. I love these little boys. They really are a treasure.
I'm moderately active. I like to get in some cardio exercise at the gym and also hike.
If you can't keep up with me going up Mt Badger, I'm probably not going to be interested in dating you.

Like most people, a nice chat at Starbucks or the like is a great starter. (I don't mind cliche, it works)
I'm ok with a movie, but really? There's no chance to talk, so dinner or drinks is a must after the flick is over.
Hockey!?? Yes. Hockey. I love to watch our TCA! Will you give me a High Five when our boys get in the net?
