About Me
If I were to describe myself A to Z it would be: adventurous, buoyant, charming, direct, efficient, funny, gregarious, honest, intense, jokester, kind, likeable, messy, naughty, purposeful, optimistic, quirky (really?), romantic, sensual, tricky, unusual, voluptuous, watchful, x-citable (okay that's a bit of a cheat), youthful, and zany. And just a little bit quiet, serious, and thoughtful. I detest liars and drama magnets.
My perfect guy would not be perfect. He would be brave, responsible, kind, funny, intelligent, curious, dominant, and romantic. He would be secure in his strength, and satisfied with his path in life. He would have strong loving ties to his family and solid friendships, he would be responsible for himself and those in his care. He would be helpful and encourage those around him to achieve their dreams. No I'm not looking for a perfect man, I'm looking for a real man. I know you're out there. ;-)
Yes I've had some ups and downs and trials in my life, but who hasn't? Even the Disney Princesses have baggage! I love the person I have become. Sometimes I'm a girly girl and other times not at all. I hate spiders....that's your que to don shining armor and slay the spider.... Because my screaming only makes them mad!!!
I have a great sense of humor. I love to read. I enjoy learning new stuff, be it a new word, a photography tip, or how to hold a gun. I have two dogs, a yellow lab and a border collie mix. I think I need a bearded dragon lizard (oooh, do they eat spiders? If they do - I'm definitely getting one!)
I love photography and enjoy getting out and shooting EVERYTHING!! I'm not a professional by a long shot, but it sure beats sitting in front of the TV! I've recently started going to the local indoor shooting range - what a blast that is - pun intended! And even more recently started the C25K challenge.... we'll see if i can out-stubborn that pesky voice in my head that is forever telling me what I can and can't do! My favorite get away location is the coast. I adore romantic comedies, but must admit I love John Wayne movies and war themed movies/books. I don't watch scary movies EVER!
I don't need to be entertained and would appreciate someone who has interests of their own, 1) that we could share and 2) because I think it's healthy to have some individual interests. I've read a lot of profiles from men that want a partner to do everything they do....really? I wonder if that means they will do everything women like to do... I don't/won't expect you to share my love of sewing, scrapbooking, crafting... I think it's unreasonable for you to expect me (or anyone) to share in ALL your activities. You want to go tent camping/trail biking - pfft, bye. I'll have a Pampered Chef party, read a trashy novel and have popcorn for dinner... See? :). Same/Same

First Date
A fun first date could be a trip to the zoo. Lots of fun, plenty to discuss, people to watch and stress free, unless you freak out over reptiles! A morning hike at Bridgeport would also be nice. Or, there is always Starbucks!
