I think it's safe to say I'm somewhat eclectic: My ipod contains songs by John Denver followed by Garbage, Meatloaf by Bette Midler, and more. I love to read the classics and am a fan of South Park. I like to go for long walks (trite but true!) and I like to play video RPGs. I like to watch historical documentaries and I quote Monty Python. Yes, I am quirky, but I'm the mellow kind. :)
Currently re-assessing where I am, and where I can see myself going. I am currently working as a security guard while planning my next step in my education :p. Looking for someone in a similar place in life, or possibly a little further ahead, but doesn't mind someone tagging along.
I'm not really much for self-promotion, but I like to think I am a comfortable person to be around, I'm a decent conversationalist, and I have a good sense of humour.
Turning thirty has made me realize that I am now (if only technically) a mature woman--I am allowed to have preferences and expectations.I like men who respect that, and are open about their expectations for a relationship. That said, I'm not in the habit of putting out on the second date: If you are in a rush to get laid, I am not what you are looking for. I appreciate the comfort of knowing someone well, and would like for someone to feel at ease with me too. I think the 'cards on the table' approach is probably the best :)
Just as a side note: anyone over forty need not apply, but thanks anyway. :)
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I think one of the most comfortable scenarios is meeting for coffee, then going for a walk (possibly while drinking more coffee...).
