I've been here in the Seattle area for about 24 hours now. I can't really offer a reason for my relocation other then morbid curiosity. I'm still trying to find whatever it is that is supposed to keep me getting out of bed every morning. I don't mean that in a depressing way, rather that I feel there is much more for me out there to experience. Not that my life is or was unfulfilling or uneventful, but I have been both blessed and cursed with an insatiable thirst for life experience.
I grew up in Orange County, CA. I spent most of my teenage and early adult years in various cities around Florida and have since lived in North Alabama and San Francisco.
I have a 6 year old daughter. She lives in Atlanta with her mother. I don't get to see her nearly as much as I'd like.
I am a smoker. I like good beer, especially pale ales and IPAs. I am herb friendly but am not a pothead. I have quite a few tattoos, stretched ears and a lip piercing.
I am very passionate about music and have a broad taste. I will always be a punk rocker at heart but I also enjoy underground hip-hop, 90's alternative, indie rock, and much more.
I play the drums although It's been a few years since I've had a set. It's about time for a new one. I want to learn to play guitar, but mostly for song writing purposes.
I enjoy reading and am an aspiring writer. Some of my favorite authors include Dr. Hunter S.Thompson (rip), Chuck Klostrman, Tom Wolfe, Thomas Wolf and Aaron Cometbus.
I like watching movies; Terintino, Darren Aronofsky, Guy Ritche, Kevin Smith... to name a few. I don't watch television much at all but I do like Adult Swim and SOA.
I feel that I am honest, compassionate, and genuine even if somewhat unconventional. I am understanding, accepting, and easy going. I try not to let things get me down. I am respectful and considerate. I know how to have fun but I am responsible and dependable. I'm a little introverted at times but am usually pretty outgoing. I think I am somebody worth getting to know. What do you think?
