About Me
Hi my name is Tony, I am a fairly good looking silvered haired guy but you can be the judge of that by my picture. I have spent my carrier in mechanical design, creating products and since 1991 I was designing medical instruments and worked in my home as an independent contractor for various clients. My work was very rewarding and I was well known for my innovative ability and designed many products that receive patents. I did 3D modeling on my computer and interfaced with clients over the internet.
I am retired now and only do a job now and then. I live in Show Low and bought a home here in July 2008 which I just love, and the environment here is great with the pine trees and spring and summer are to die for. I searched for a long time for just the right home, something different and I found this one, it is small and I have had a lot of fun decorating it with nice furniture and making my surrounding's something I could enjoy and that would be great to share. There is a picture of it in my profile and also a picture of my 55 T-bird that I restored in the mid 90's which I showed and receive top awards for. Right now I would like to meet someone to spend some time with, I am not really looking for a relationship but if something develops, well I'll just have to see where it goes. I love dancing and romance, if you get to know me you will find me a very warm and sensitive with lots of hugs and kisses, and a very playful nature.
I like to do a lot of fun things including collecting music for my Ipod that I play at home and in my car. I really like country music and I love to do country dancing, you will usually find me at the casino dancing a couple nights a week. I read novels and sometimes watch TV in the evening, and I do cook some but it would be wonderful make meals with someone and try out interesting dishes. It's also fun to visit second hand stores and furniture stores just to browse hoping to find decorations. I'm well versed in computer technology going back to the late 70's being technically oriented do to my career background, I research anything and everything on Google when needing information. I have software to do an incredible amount of different things, including music, video and photography and from Xcel spread sheets to word processing. I guess you would call me a computer nerd..LOL. I am quit laid back but I like to take day trips and go hiking or do things if there is someone to do it with. It would be nice to do some traveling but I don't have much incentive to do it by myself.
My outlook on life revolves around my belief in spirituality and I aspire to teachings of renown authors. There is a lot of validity in controlling our thoughts and the way our minds work to achieving harmony in life. Unconditional acceptance of a friend or partner as he or she is, is key to suppressing triggered emotional reactions from the enemy within us that takes over when we're not looking. Being enlightened is being aware of our ego and it's reactions to situations, it is not a part of the true loving human nature and can be suppressed when it tries to become you. It is not always easy to resist the affects, but the knowledge of how it works promotes harmony in our lives and the way we are in relationships.
So, if you are looking for a good friend, we can correspond and see where things go. I am not much good at small talk, but with the right companion I can be fun, quit interesting, and intelligent but by the same token, I am somewhat self conscious until I we get to know each other.
I also need to add that a lot of people I have contacted here are rude in just not replying, although I must say I have been guilty of that on occasion but I do try to reply to all messages. I believe that making a premature judgment is fruitless related to the reason we are all on this site.
