A female here on POF by the name MssTamara asked this question on her page and I would like to answer it.
I ASK THE QUESTION EVERYWOMAN WANTS TO KNOW - WHAT THE HELL DO MEN REALLY WANT!!!!?????
What men really want is to be able to pick his bride or lady to be like in the olden days without all the hassles that y'all women bring to the table. Y'all are never satisfied no matter what. If ya'll see one thing wrong with something or someone's profile y'all kick them to the curb and quickly flick to the next guy.
LET ME LET THE BIBLE SPEAK FOR ME.
Let's go back in time for a moment. If I wanted you for my wife, I would come to your house and present myself to your father and try to buy you from him. This is what all the Patriarchs and Prophets did. Read Gen. 24. They didn't start out as friends or lovers. They both had an unspoken agreement, the man was suppose to work and support his wife and family by any means possible and the wife was to stay home and take care of the kids. In the process of time they learned to love each other (I repeat LEARNED TO LOVE EACH OTHER).
LOOKING FOR A PRETTY LADY
Listen I'm not into hurting people feelings and I mean no disrespect, but I'm looking for a very pretty lady (complexion or race doesn’t matter) who look so good and got a body so bad that she'd make a bishop throw down his bible and jump out of a stained glass window. (Just kidding)
On the real side, I’m looking for a lady to whom I can fall in love with the moment I lay eyes on her. This lady is to be my wife-to-be. She must be as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out. I want my heart to melt when she comes around me. She must be able to present herself like a lady at all times and be a freak in the bedroom. If this ain't you don't bother to write.
Some might say that I'm wrong for wanting a pretty woman and that I should look on the inside, but if I’m wrong for thinking this way, so were many of the Patriarch's and Prophets of old. Abraham's wife Sarah was one of the prettiest women in all Egypt (Gen. 12:10-20); so was Isaac’s wife Rebekah (Gen. 24:16, 63-67). Jacob fell in love at first sight when he met Rachel; he wanted her so bad, he worked 14 years just to have her (Gen. 29:15-20). Queen Esther was favoured because of her beauty (Esther 2:7-9). Solomon had 60 wives (All Queens) and 80 mistresses and an unnumbered amount of virgins but there was a perfect one, (the one I’m looking for). She was so fine that Solomon wrote the Song of Sol. about her (Song of Sol. 6:8, 9).
Boaz (David's Grandfather) tricked his kinsman to get Ruth who was very pretty (Read the whole book) and David had his friend killed for his wife Bathsheba; and besides that, dig this, when David got old, his workers sought a pretty women to console him in his old age; my question to you is if I’m wrong, why didn't they seek and get an ugly one with a nice heart? (2 Sam. 11; 1 Ki. 1:1-4).
I'm a king such as David and Solomon was and I do the picking (Esther 2:1-4). No, I don’t want a beautiful queen such as Vashti (Esther 1:10-12, 15-22) stuck up and conceited. I want a beautiful woman who is intelligent and sweet such as Esther. Read Esther 8.
Please don't think that I'm a perfectionist because I'm far from being perfect. I'm just an average okay looking black guy who's trying to get his life straight with God. All I want while I'm here is a little heaven on earth; that's it.
If I've offended anyone in anyway, I very much apologize and please forgive me but the question was asked what do men want and here is your answer taken straight out of the bible.
After reading this I bet 99% of you still won't let a man pick you because you'll see some fault in his or my profile that you don't like and this is why us good guys never can find who we want because y'all won't let us.
Oh one more thing before I go, a female sent me this thing about woman and to us men it's so true and it goes like this....
The Husband Store
A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs
She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.'
So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.
'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!'
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.
The first floor has wives that love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer
The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.
Even though this story is fictitious the one written in Genesis Chapter 3 is not. The woman, her man and the world WAS MADE PERFECT, I repeat PERFECT and she still WAS NOT SATISFIED with what she had; and not to be bias the man who was NOT TRICKED (1 Tim. 2:13, 14) chose to share her fate because of the Punanny (Gen. 3:6).
Your Question Should Have Read "What The Hell Do Us Woman Want?"
Take care and I hope that some of you write back even though you won't.
Us men take the time out to write you and you don't even have the decency to write back. What kind of woman are you, and you christian women are even worse because you suppose to have Jesus in your heart? A real lady wouldn't do that...even
My quest is to find my Princess who, before and throughout time, has been ever searching for me, but not finding me. My Princess and I are destined to be together, hopefully in this life so that my current being can experience the most remarkable LOVE. Before Moses, before Abraham, before the world, we were fated to be together. We started out as two bright beacons of light in perfect unison, exploring the breadth of the universe, continually pledging to seek for one another if we were parted, promising to always find one another no matter what happened, no matter what form we took. Our connection is the most powerful of magnets. Every step I take is a step closer to her.
I don't know how many lifetimes we have already shared (we have infinity yet to share). I suspect at least one, perhaps more. She is my history as I am hers. If I lived prior lives without finding her, I was ever searching for her. In all my existences a bright light of hope has burned in my heart, the hope of finding her again, the one soul that completes me. I can't recall our past, the prior lives we shared together. I think the pain would be too much to bear, the pain of knowing her but not knowing her. But one of us has to nurture those precious memories, keep them alive. One of us has to recall our lifetimes and pre-lifetimes of perfect unity. The power of those memories, her memories, will jolt me into consciousness when we meet again. Her memories are a beacon of light that guides me back to her. Every day that she remembers me, her memories reach out to me and she becomes more and more real to me.
I call myself her Prince, I call her my Princess, but those are just words, broad outlines. Just as easily, I could be her Lord and she my Lady, I her Knight in Shining Armour and she my Fair Maiden, I her King and she my Queen. All the great loves of our time, of any time, Anthony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet...aren't they simply incarnations of us. Perhaps all the great lovers throughout history are one and the same, one love, one destiny, one unity.
How will I know it is she when I meet her, if I can't recall her? When we do meet again, the power, the strength of her remembrance will invade my mind and awaken my memories. In a sudden rush, all will be clear.
Will your photo provide me with a flash of clarity, I pray that it do.
Still In Love With You
