About Me
In my free time I enjoy running have gotten back into running races in the Baltimore area last year with my most recent race being the Northern Central Trail Marathon in November (completed). My next big goal is to complete either a 50k or a 50 miler by the end of the year 2012.
While staying active is great, I also enjoy sitting down to watch movies (comedies, action, adventure, you name it). I also spend my time working with electronics, especially building/modifying computers, networks, and troubleshooting...but only for fun. I love watching the Ravens play during football season and when the season ends, I turn my attention to the Caps (Washington Capitals - NHL). I like to chuck the ole' Frisbee around (pretty good at), shoot pool (not so good at), and even bowling (this I am terrible at but hey it's fun).
I plan on going back to school to get my MBA, once I finish paying off my student loans that is.
As for my personality, I consider myself to be very down to earth yet sometimes off the wall. My friends and coworkers find me to be rather goofy as I like to joke around a lot (if you can't laugh then what's the point). I get a kick out of making people laugh and have a good time. I may even come off as borderline hyper when something comes up that I am excited about, but that is just the enthusiasm talking. However when it comes down to business and important situations, I get it done. I am honest to a fault and I don't really have any issues with talking about any personal topics, especially in a one to one or small group setting. On the flip side I also enjoy listening to people and actually talking to them...you know...in person.
Favorite Bands: Tool, Bush, Linkin Park, Muse, The Who, The Offspring, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, NIN, Rage Against the Machine, Disturbed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hans Zimmer (to name a few).
Favorite Movies: The Dark Knight, Black Hawk Down, Old School, The Professional, Blood Diamond, Inception, The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, I am Legend, Knocked Up, The Hurt Locker.
Favorite Shows: Tosh .0, Community, Parks & Recreation, Outsourced, Family Guy (Old stuff), American Dad, Avatar: The Last Airbender, South Park, Always Sunny, Louie, Wilfred, The Walking Dead, and Regular Show.
Travel: I have been to Europe which was only four years ago where I studied in Rome for a semester in college. I traveled all around Italy and got around to several other countries including France, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Austria. I love traveling and I really want to go back to Europe one day to backpack for two weeks (people who stay in hotels don't know what they are missing).
I have a tattoo on my back and earrings...in my ears. I understand that those aren't for everyone, however I usually keep my earrings out and keep my tattoo covered (I don't plan on getting any more of either out of professionalism but hey you never know what life will bring).

First Date
As far a first dates go, I would have to say that dinner or some fun activity like pool (billards) or bowling would be my preference. While some people prefer the bar/club scene, a dinner or fun activity is a more personal experience that allows you to at least gauge and converse with the other person. It may sound cliche, but it's a fact.
Ultimately, I would choose to have a first date be a dinner date. However, if the she would like to choose a place that she prefers or would feel more comfortable, that would be great as well. In the end it is all about being comfortable and just having a good time.
