A retired Air Force officer, I publish a weekly golf/travel newsletter, work for a local newspaper and organize singles events.
In the pictured tuxedo is how many adult singles 50+ in the Denver area see me. I host the monthly Boomer Social Network dances in hotel ballrooms.
Also I teach singles 50+ to play beginner golf every Monday night during in the summer. I enjoy organizing events and have for 30 years.
A frequent question is--"If you know all these singles, why are you doing online dating?" Because I am the host and manage the event details rather than dance and participate.
Musically, I love old-time rock & roll and I am friends with and follow several local oldies bands. I to see them perform on weekends and in concerts and write about them in my weekly entertainment newsletter.
A retired Air Force Officer, I published the monthly Colorado Golfer, the state golf newspaper, for 25 years. It is now sent out weekly online.
My "job" allows me to play golf throughout Colorado and every winter in Florida. I am planning to stay and play in the Colorado mountains more this summer. I am fortunate to have turned my vacations into vocations. I would, however, enjoy a travel partner.
I spend spare time reading non-fiction books, several newspapers and web sites. I am a member of four professional sports writer associations and have to stay current.
Information and photos of the dances are at boomersocial dot net.
