I'm an Art teacher at a charter school near downtown Columbus. I love my job and my students. :) I honestly don't feel like I work and I hate long vacations... I end up missing my students! What teacher talks like that?! Creativity is my main drive in life and what I most try to instill in my students (hence the tattoo on my right wrist.) That and I lead by example that a nice and caring person can get ahead in life. I'm very easy going, laugh at everything, and I'm basically just a really nice guy. :)
I love my mother and once a week we watch Shield and Whose Line is it Anyway and I beat her at 500 Rum.
My students painted three 8'-9' portraits of Martin Luther King and just made an inflatable, plastic octopus sculpture that's about 60' long and 20' high. Usually I give them crazy projects based on Rube Goldberg machines or Slenderman or whatever I think would be funny to do. I spend the majority of my day messing with kids while I teach and doing what I can to make them laugh and their art class memorable. Videos where they're dancing to 'Happy" by Pharrell or doing the Robot, painting plastic bottles to look like fish, and attacking them with Dragonball Z energy attacks.
Avengers (and all Marvel Studios movies,) Anchorman, Talladega Nights, The Other Guys, Black Dynamite, Just Friends, Scott Pilgrim, Not Another Teen Movie, Dawn of the Dead (remake,) Cabin in the Woods, Resident Evil, Clue, Dr. Horrible, Oscar, Kung Pow, Red vs. Blue, Zombieland, A Mighty Wind and Alice in Wonderland. I really like movies, so there're a lot more...
Game of Thrones, Supernatural, The Office, Dr. Who, Sherlock, Archer, Venture Bros.
Epic Rap Battles, Lil****, George Watsky, Wu Tang Clan, Ben Folds, Auto-Tune the News, OK Go.
Pokemon, Smash Bros., Zelda, Metroid, Kirby... Nintendo. Batman Arkham games are amazing, and Lollipop Chainsaw.
I'm interested in finding another easy-going person. If you dig art, that's fantastic. If you're a nerd, even better. I need someone with a solid sense of humor above all else. I'm an very honest person, brought up not to lie, so if you're interested you can ask me anything. Trust is built on open, truthful conversation (and actions) so there's not really any point in lying as far as I'm concerned. ;)
Somewhere we can talk and get to know each other. I'm kind of squirrely, so sitting in one spot on the first date makes me come off as a spaz I've noticed, haha. I'm very much a 'equal partnership' kinda guy, so I'd be sure to ask you before deciding anything. ;)
