Life is wonderful. I am comfortable, confident, have strong values and my priorities are in check.
I love to laugh… sometimes goofy, a little playful, affectionate with a mischievous streak… I can be serious at work and at play – very passionate, romantic and would rather greet you with a hug than a handshake…
While I appreciate nature walks and the outdoors, I especially enjoy walks on the beach (especially if there is a nice glass of wine waiting when we get back), I truly enjoy the arts - theatre and live music (concerts etc) and certainly good conversation that stimulates the mind. Ok, and maybe other senses too sometimes.
I'm looking to travel and see more of the world. Traveling and experiencing other cultures broadens our world view. I believe giving back and volunteering in any way gives one a stronger sense of self and what's really important in life. I am hoping to find someone that values those things as well.
Romance and passion/being passionate are important to me. Someone as comfortable in a suit or tux as he is in jeans and a tee shirt. Stolen kisses are fun when we are together as much as simply holding hands and a touch to know that you are with me and I am with you. A kind heart and compassionate spirit, a good sense of humor without being hurtful, and someone who listens well and wants to communicate in the relationship are all important to me as well.
I like a man that is confident but not arrogant, strong yet gentle, intelligent (not necessarily book smart).. that is comfortable in his own skin. A man with goals and integrity and a sense of himself are a turn on for sure. Someone who appreciates good family values and has a strong moral compass is a "got to have".
We're best friends, lovers, a safe place to go to when the going gets tough or challenging. Partners in life, love, and in building a wonderful life together. It all starts with friends of course. We love to do a lot of things together yet have our individual interests too. A guy or girls night out is a healthy thing I believe in a good solid relationship. Staying in to cook together, watch a good movie, read by the fire or meeting friends at a local restaurant or us having coffee at a neighborhood cafe are all things I hope we'll do. We both know how to dress up and dress down and sometimes not dress at all.
I look forward to that butterfly feeling in my stomach when thinking about you… that sparkle in my eye that makes people wonder what’s on my mind…
I want to be your best hello and your hardest goodbye…
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Play that by ear after we first connect by phone or text. Something casual and comfortable for sure because it's not where we are but who we are when we meet. Did I mention I am a hopeless romantic? .
