About Me
I am from Brooklyn, NY and have been living in Las Vegas since 2005. I enjoy dining out, movies, travel, bowling is always fun (because I am so bad at it) and spending time with friends and family. I have joint custody of my 13 year old son and like every other parent I think my child is amazing. The truth is, he is a "mini-me" and it freaks me out sometimes. No matter what kind of day I have had he seems to make me smile effortlessly. I have a truly wonderful family...a good ole' big Italian family. When we get together it is always a good time and I love those moments.
I am a die-hard Yankee fan so if you are too (or if you at least have an interest in baseball) than we would be off to a good start, if not I am always willing to educate. Favorite foods include sushi, steak, good fried chicken and anything I cook. Yes I cook...really well as a matter of fact. I am very straight forward but never rude. I have a good sense of humor and love to joke around; life is too short to be all up tight. I have tattoos, all can be covered (I have to cover for work). The idea of being able to decorate my body with memories that tell part of my life story is fascinating to me; a lot of people don't get this. I am finally at a point in my life where I know exactly what I want and some days it feels pretty good, other days is scares the heck out of me.
I have faith and believe that it is part of who and what I am. I am a total dog person, MUST LOVE DOGS. While I do not have any at this time my plans definitely include getting one in the future...okay maybe two...okay definitely no more than three dogs...see where I am going with this? I enjoy going out to a nice dinner as much as I do staying in and curling up on the couch to watch a movie while eating Chinese take-out. Once I am comfortable with someone I am a total hand holder and I love cuddle...in my head that sounded much more masculine...oh well. I am most comfortable in my jeans or a pair of shorts and sneakers (tennis shoes for those that are not from the east coast), but I can dress when it's called for. These days it's all about comfort.
I have traveled throughout the United States and abroad, but there are still a lot of places I would like to see. I enjoy locations that combine some culture/history/site seeing with nice beaches. I have only been to Europe once and really want to see more of it. Sometimes a weekend trip to the beach is just what's needed to shake the "Vegas" off!
What I am looking for, let's try this...I am looking for a real person. Someone that can be honest and faithful, silly and serious, crazy and calm. Appearances are only one factor; conversation, compassion, manners, humor and a little down-to earth charm never hurt. As for the subject of appearance, I believe beauty is directly tied to attitude. If you believe that you are attractive and you are confident, without being a total snob, then you are. Most importantly, be real...I am not into games and believe that being up front is always the best way to deal with anything. Please be able to hold a conversation with me. Finally, and this is important...if I am old enough to be your father or if you are old enough to be my mother, while I appreciate your interest, I like to date ladies that are around my own age.
Ultimately I would like to be in a committed relationship, but believe that takes time and meeting/dating is the first step. I am not afraid of commitment, but will not force or rush it. I am tired of the games and have a lot to offer the right person, be real or be gone. Ever hear the old saying, "nice guys finish last"? Well I am one of the nice guys, are you up to proving that old saying wrong?
