I'm a simple guy, I am a divorced dad of two wonderful children, a 6 year old little girl and a 10 year old boy. I have a good relationship with their Mom, and I have them about 50% of the time.
Spring and fall is soccer season, and both my kids play. I coach my daughter (I have been), and I am usually very busy even on my "off" weekends.
When I don't have the kids I am up for anything. I like to ride bikes, tennis, go out to dinner, see a funny comedy, at home or in the theater. Grab a drink at a bar, hocking hills, explore new places, I'll try anything. Lets go see a band at a bar. Love The Websters, the Menu's, and LDML. I'll even hit the dance floor with ya.
As for my date, I like a woman who is open, wants to share her feelings and opinion's, is active, and can be competitive with me both in sports and maybe board games too.(all the "xxx with friends" games on iphone, are great to play). I want her to be able to have knowledge in sports, and enjoy attending a sporting event. (If the cubs ever make it to the World Series, you better be prepared for an impromptu trip to Chicago.). Most importantly I also want someone who is looking for, and willing to give their heart to someone. If you can appreciate me for me, I will appreciate you for you. That is all I can ask for in a relationship.
Outside of that I have found chemistry is key. You just have a connection with some people, and you find that and build on it. I tend to fit the definition of young at heart. I connect better with like minded younger thinking individuals.
A great first date would be either meet up for drinks or coffee, to talk and get to know each better. If the chemistry is good, a nice goodbye kiss, and hopefully a second date.
