About Me
as stated above, i am a mechanical engineer in baltimore, MD. this is my job, but my true passion is in technology... pretty much anything with an electronic 'pulse' would quickly get me interested. i build my own computers, and always have, with the exception of my dell laptop which i use for work occasionally. i also build HTPC's which are basically Beefed up DVR's, but with many many many more features.
i would like to get back into school and finish up my bachelors degree, but i have found that in my profession, i dont really need it to make decent money. also, i cannot afford at the moment to be unemployed for 2 years, lol. eventually i would like to complete through a masters degree in mechanical engineering.
i havent had much experience in the dating game, which is probably why i landed on here. i have had a few serious gf's in the past, but all have lasted less then a year. people tell me all the time that looking at me, you would never know how smart i am, because its very rare to find such a decent looking 'nerd'... lol.
anyway, i am open minded and would consider myself a good judge of character. i like to hang out with my friends (doesnt everyone?), who are like family to me. we are very close and have been since high school, so i love them dearly. hopefully you like what you read and you can meet them too ;)

First Date
boring, run of the mill: dinner & some drinks... so we can get to know one another.
interesting: go to the middle of a pitch black field, lay on a blanket and look at the stars (just recently started to get into astronomy)... get to know one another and maybe learn a few things in the process.
even more interesting: who needs a plan...? meet somewhere and just run with it :)
