Ladies, It's time to meet a true renaissance man.
I believe to enjoy a good relationship, one has to be happy within . I want to have passionate individuals in my life. I have over the years managed to dabble in many things and master a few. I am an avid reader, topics of interest ranging from poetry to philosophy. I enjoy hip hop in a trendy club and savor the blues in a beat-down dive. I love watching a play by Brecht as much as cheering for my favorite teams in a sports bar. I am also learning to play the guitar. I'll TRY to fix a broken sink myself first.
I want to know people who have a vibrant mind, body and soul. I question everything, but cynicism in people is a big turnoff. Interest in physical fitness is a must, but in no way am I looking for a somebody obsessed with a scale or measuring tape. The most sensual part that humans have is the mind. If there is chemistry between two minds everything else will follow. I am looking for an intelligent, kind woman who can be my companion physically, emotionally and intellectually. I seek somebody who I can bare my soul, but also know that I don't need one to complete me.
I chose not to define an ideal partner to the minutest detail as there are so many amazing people in the world. I feel you'll miss out on meeting many of them if you make your definitions too narrow and shallow. I have many flaws and I think it is ridiculuous that people waste so much of their lives looking for the ideal. I don't expect you to be perfect, and neither am I hell bent on finding the "one and only". Even if we don't end up together and grow old, we can still enrich each others lives

First Date
I believe conversation is extremely important on the first date, so we can know if we are right for each other, as partners or good friends. So any place that is not conducive to conversation, like a loud bar/club or a movie theater would not be appropriate. My favorites are a local cafe/bookstore, a minor league baseball game or a cozy restaurant.
