About Me
A friend recently described me as being very supportive, always willing to help, selfless, and complimented me on the fact that she's never seen me lose my cool. I'm quite open and honest - no subject is taboo with me. I can also be bruttaly honest in a loving fashion (I call it like I see it) and I enjoy sarcasm. I am mellow, easy to get along with, optomistic and calm in the eye of the storm. I believe in giving for the joy it gives. I'm kind and passionate, sensual and loving. I love to laugh and am frequently complimented on my laugh's ability to bring out a return laugh in others. Nothing beats the pure n simply joy of a shared laughing fit. :)
I am active in self-examination and self-improvement and strive to be of service to those around me. I'm kind of on a health kick... besides not drinking or drugging, I've recently quit smoking and did away with eatting meat & dairy, fried or processed foods. I plan to add exercise back in to the mix sometime soon. I also have made a tiny beginning in planting an herb & vegetable garden this year. I'm certainly not perfect and don't have unrealistic expectations that anyone else is either. That being said, it would be wonderful if you were of the same opinion that there is always room for growth. I like to take pride in my partner and if I can respect the strides you've made and are making towards continual improvement upon yourself and the lives of those around you, it truly goes a long way with me.
I feel serene and happiest when surrounded by nature's beauty. The mountains in particular soothe my soul. There's nothing like the exhileration of splashing into a cold river and later climbing along the banks for a little exploration, stopping along the way to pluck a few wild flowers. Sappy I know, but it pleases me. Sitting around a campfire staring into the flames or admiring the stars with family/friends or a romantic partner = Bliss!
I find a lot of fulfillment in creating things with my hands. I’d love to find a male partner who enjoys working on remodeling/landscaping projects together. It would be a huge bonus if you were also handy with cars or electronics!
I'm really good at: Arts n Crafts, Interior Painting, Being a goober and making my friends laugh, Being a supportive and reliable friend, staying up way too late, school (who knew?), being a mother, singing horribly off-key, giving massages, playing texas hold-em, procrastinating, crochetting, fresh floral design, laughing loudly and often, almost always having a smile on my face.
Other random things I like: gardening, large dogs and other furry critters, playing with my daughter, my computer, potato chips, road trips, reeces, board games, stained glass, antique furniture, my favorite converse shoes, unique jewelry, dressing up in costume, cuddling, rockin out in my car when I'm alone, the first kiss.

Traveling - something I'd love to do more of. Have been all over the Western U.S., Canada and a few spots in Mexico. I grew up in the Hayward Hills, lived in Portland Oregon for a few years (LOVED IT) and also in Kansas City Missouri (not so much), have returned home to the Bay Area.

First Date
Basically.... anywhere that we can chat and get to know eachother in a casual setting, and hopefully enjoy a few laughs while admiring our surroundings. While I love movies, it's obviously not a good idea for a first date. I like what someone else had written so I'm going to paraphrase here: I'd rather get to know the current you and your personality, versus playing 20 questions and hearing about your past failures in a forced akward way over a boring meal! Some sort of activity helps break the ice, gives you both something pleasurable to do and remember, and can often reveal more about the real you. So let's go enjoy a small local adventure to explore a new place or show me one of your favorite Bay Area spots.
