About Me
Hey there! I'm a fun loving young woman who enjoys meeting new people, experiencing new places and new things. Im a Navy brat and grew up all over the country but spent the last 11 years in Texas before moving to the DC area in 2010. I am a graduate of Texas Christian University where I received my degree in Political Science with a minor in History. I also attended the United States Naval Academy. I current work within OSD and absolutely love my job; I'm also a live-in nanny and enjoy being with the kiddos even though I'm not ready for any of my own.
I enjoy time with my family and friends and like helping anyone I can. I love to do things that put smiles on others faces, whether it be helping them out when in a bind or baking them some homemade goodies. I'm a huge sports fan, especially college football. I root on my alma maters Navy and TCU and go to as many home games as I can for both. I've played many sports over the years, and will try anything new. I've started on a journey the past year to return to a healthier and more active life so I am currently pursuing that kind of lifestyle and would love to have someone who wants the same.
I'm looking for a man who can be my equal. One who knows how to treat a woman and who will take my thoughts and career ambitions seriously. I need a man who is not intimidated by things I've accomplished in my past and those that I have yet to achieve. I need someone who will be by my side through good and bad and one who doesn't run for the nearest exit at the first sign of difficulty. A man who enjoys to travel is a plus because I have a very free spirit and enjoy adventure. A man who is well-read and educated (bachelors degree or higher) and can hold a conversation about literature, politics and sports stats. I enjoy trying new things and experience new places around the city and would love to do that on a date. A man who ultimately wants to add to his family after a few years of just being a 2 person family. Someone who has faith in a higher power; i am catholic and would like to be able to share at least the Christian faith and beliefs with my partner. I look for someone that i can laugh and smile with; Im always smiling and to have someone who I can smile with is a big want. A man that I can enjoy time with either at a ball game or just sitting in the living room, watching tv or reading a book quietly. Finally Id love someone who continues to push me to be better, whether its continuing my goal for getting to where i want to be physically, or finishing that scrap-booking project, getting to the next level in my career, or experimenting in the kitchen or making a home together. As far as attraction, I am more attracted to black/dark skinned men, however I do date all different races and don't discriminate.

First Date
Id love to either check out a museum or try a new place to eat. Maybe check out a live music show or just take a walk down near the Mall and get to know one another. Or go for a motorcycle ride (or in my Mustang convertible) down George Washington parkway. Im up for anything!
