About Me
I grew up in Alaska, and I'll always consider Alaska home. I just recently moved to the area for a new job, and don't know a soul! I am a music teacher, a part time grad student, a part time commercial fisherman, and a part time house flipper. I consider myself a jack of all trades.....doer of all, master of none. =)
I love music! I teach middle school band, so I play quite a few instruments. I play trombone in several brass groups, and play guitar and sing in a rock band. I also enjoy playing French horn and piano.
I enjoy traveling. I've been to Europe a few times, and am dying to get back soon. I enjoy history and architecture. I love being outside... hiking, biking, camping, frisbee...and the Oregon coast! I play basketball a couple times a week. I'm also in to the serious sports... ping pong, mini golf, and pool. =) I would rather see a symphony or ballet over watching sports. While I like to play them, I don't like to watch them.
I need someone that can keep up with my sarcastic personality--I love to laugh and joke around! I consider myself intelligent, affectionate, sincere, honest, trustworthy, hard working, respectful, sensitive, and very loyal. I care deeply for the people in my life, and will do anything to maintain those friendships.
When asked what I'm looking for, I usually answer "a spunky girl." She has to be someone who can dish it out and take it. Someone with a little spitfire in her. =) I would like to find someone who has similar interests, and some to share. I want a girl who values our faith in God. I'm very open, honest, and need to find someone who is affectionate as that's important to me as well.
