I love to cook for family and friends. I am known for walking in the woods, sometimes for extended periods. I'm nuts for our four legged friends. I am a fool for anything water. I play a left handed acoustic guitar built for me by J.W. Gallagher in Wartrace, TN. I am a big bluegrass fan, but also enjoy a variety of music. I love simplicity in my life and work. I like to shoot and edit images, still or moving. I have been blessed to use my gift of creativity to make a living. I was once given the Myers/Briggs personality test when I was deep into the corporate world. Here is their description of the INFP:
Idealistic, loyal to their values and to people who are important to them. Want an external life that is congruent with their values. Curious, quick to see possibilities, can be catalysts for implementing ideas. Seek to understand people and to help them fulfill their potential. Adaptable, flexible, and accepting unless a value is threatened. (pretty darn close)
I believe that any man or woman can teach themselves to do anything that they set their mind to. I do not hide or disguise my emotions. My best attributes,I think, are my patience, creativity, my desire to be a life long learner, and my quirky sense of humor. I believe in God and I want one of his greatest treasures, a woman, in my life.
"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
- Albert Einstein
"Dear God... Please help me to be the person my dog thinks I am."
This totally depends on the season and weather... I am as comfortable in the woods as I am in the kitchen or on the front porch playing some tunes. Not real crazy about large crowds, but will endure them if it is the right band. I love really great restaurants, but I would rather do the cooking and serving myself.
