I am a displaced Nova Scotian living in Vancouver BC. I have lost almost all connection with NS over the years and would like to change that. I'm not really looking for a relationship right now, but sometimes the unexpected happens. I am a small l liberal who gets along best with like minded people, green, orange or red is all good to me. I am intelligent, professional, kind and generous and open minded. I have spent thousands of hours on the streets of Vancouver feeding the homeless over the years and played a big part in a governors general award for compassion. I am very tall with a few extra pounds, but that has been changing slowly and I see myself in 3 years being fit and lean. I gained most of the extra weight after a devastating injury on my 40th birthday. People who know my story consider me a walking miracle - I am a 1 in 25 million survivor. There was a time in my life when I was a star athlete and an artist. In my late 20's I learned to ballroom and country dance and later competed in the Canadian championships twice with a 3rd overall finish in 1997.
I have great dreams of what the next 30 years will be, including extensive travel around the world. Part of that dream was getting a degree in tourism which I completed earlier this year.
There is a lot about me that I could say, but to find out you will have to ask. I will make great effort to respond to everyone that messages me in a polite manner. I thought about uploading my half nude photo's of me posing in front of the mirror, but then realized if I did it I'd have to choice but to end it all. The one great thing about that type of image is that there is no need to read the message, just click delete ASAP.
It struck me earlier that they should add a dropdown box that asks "Do all your parts work?" instead of "do you want children" for men my age and older, lol. Maybe some of the choices could be "viagra assisted" or "by the grace of god!". See, I'm not just funny looking...
