About Me

I would like to find someone to share the golden years with. I am a, one woman, man and do not stray. My last relationship was 28 years until I was widowed. Last employer 29 years until retirement. Somewhere it mentioned I was a Taurus; I am not. I am a Gemini born on the cusp. I quit smoking 6 years ago and never went back. Quit drinking 15 years ago but would enjoy a glass of wine with the right lady as long as I don't have to drive right away. I have a wide taste in music but I still think the 50's through the 70's was best; with exceptions. I enjoy live theater, mostly Drury Lane since Pheasant Run isn't really a theater anymore. I enjoy films of a wide variety, including Sentimental, Science Fiction, War, Espionage, Family and most 3D films but don't waste my time on those like Cable Guy etc. My favorite magazine is Reminisce and a favorite net site is "Suddenly Senior". Crosswords, Sudoku, Scrabble and Canasta are games I enjoy. I also have an avid interest in astrology. Good local family restaurants are nice for casual dining, as well as upper scale for the right occasions. I also enjoy cooking I shy away from too much junk food but do have a weakness for Gilly's real frozen custard, chocolate, and orange sherbet with Cool Whip; tastes like an old fashioned Dreamsicle. Very big on being close and holding hands...never too old for that.

First Date

On a first date I think meeting for coffee, or perhaps a breakfast, would be appropriate. However I would lean heavily on the lady's preferences.
