About Me
I work in the dental field currently but, am going back to school to be a PA or NP. I enjoy volunteering, camping, backpacking, hiking, golf, shooting guns, desert sports and all things that are outdoors. I am very much a tomboy and like to get dirty but, really like to get dressed up and be a bit of a girly girl.
I have been single for the better part of the last 14 years since my divorce and have decided to be the doting mother instead of focusing on dating since. I am ready to get back into the world of dating and into a relationship now that my son is older.
I am very self sufficient and can handle anything. I am at the point that I want a realationship but, do not NEED one. I don't have a set resume of perfection that I live by although, I know what works for me and what doesn't. I try to play it by ear and enjoy the experience. I want a best friend but am not looking for someone to complete me. I have a lot of interests that keep me busy and like that others have the same.
I am open, honest, caring and very thoughtful of others and request the same with the one I am with. I would never chose my job over my partner although, my life has been dedicated to taking care of others and when I am done with school, doctors without borders is on the "Bucket List", and will pursue it.
I want to travel the world and take cooking classes everywhere I go. I love to cook and bake and really love to entertain. I have a fantastic group of freinds that love to do the same and we switch off who is the host/hostess with our dinner parties.
I do need to say that I have a very dualistic personality that loves to debate politics, science and life and the other loves to LAUGH and just enjoy the moment. I have always been deemed the irreverent one wherever I go. Life is just way to short to let it get to me too much. We cannot be perfect!!

First Date
I have no set idealogy of a perfect date. I think if the chemistry is there than it works. I don't watch lifetime nor do I watch day time TV to have false expectations of what is "supposed to happen". It is all about connection!!
