I'm a bit cynical about dating websites. Im partial to gentlemen and nice guys. I have a soft spot for the nerdy and like when I find someone who can laugh at themselves. Goofy can be sexy.
I'm into watching sports and playing a few of them and am tomboyish with the heart of a girly girl. My favorite place is TopGolf in Alexandria. Killing it with the drivers.
I like to move around but have (at least) one place that feels like home. I take serious relationships seriously and believe that monogamy, while hard to maintain, is not impossible.
I'm studying to further my career in both the non profit industry as well as meeting planning and appreciate people who truly love their work.
As far as music goes my playlist can be confusing. I've got Res next to DJ Tiesto next to Elle Varner next to Antony & the Johnstons and more. I know what I like when I like it.
Things that make me smile: flowers, thunderstorms, the smell after a candle is blown out, spontaneity, (formerly) big east basketball, great books, and spicy & sweet things.
***I really hate dishonesty. I'd rather be hurt by the truth than be content in a lie. I'll never ask a question if I'm not prepared for the answer. Also, I'm not on here to just hook up. Please be honest in your profile. If that's what you're looking for say it. Why spend time writing an interesting profile about how you are looking for something more then message me about "gettin it in". That's not why I'm here. That is a turn off for me. Thanks. ***
I think a good date is one that doesn't put too much pressure on either person. Coffee and a walk are great ways to learn more about one another. That being said, once you know each other I think dates should be interesting and creative.
