So anyway...about me:
I'm an avid reader. I always have a new book to read. I enjoy taking scenic walks (beach, trails, outdoor shopping plazas). I watch Jeopardy almost every night and I try to never miss a Laker game.
I'm interested in starting my own event planning business.
I'm unique in that I look like a girly-girl but I'm really a tomboy at heart. I'm more practical than emotional.
For the past year ,I've been trying to work out 3-4 nights a week. I'm very friendly and tend to strike up conversation easly with people wherever I go. With family and friends, I can cut up and have everyone laughing or smilling. I've been told I should do stand up, but, I can't do a routine, the humor just comes out naturally.
My musical tastes vary with my mood. My favorite is R&B or Neo-soul But, on any given day, I may feel like listening to Rock, Oldies, Jazz, Reggae or Country.
I love to pamper and spoil the person I'm with and do things to make them feel special and appreciated. I'm looking for someone who will appreciate being treated well and won't mistake kindness for weakness. At the same time, I want someone who will reciprocate and spoil me, too, and make me feel like I'm the only woman in the world for them.
Someone asked me my 3 absolute essentials in the man I'm looking for. They are:
1. Honesty. Nothing upsets me more than a person who is not truthful.
2. Resilience. Everyone may get down, may lose a job or whatever. But, I want someone who has the drive and determination to not stay down. Dust yourself off and keep it moving. I'll be a person's biggest supporter as I would hope they would for me.
3. Values. I want a man who stands for something. A man who has a good heart and is willing to stand up for what's right and for those he loves. Someone who values family, hard work, and living the best life possible.
The physical or material things are not as important to me. Of course, I want a man who I find attractive and sexy and who excites me mentally as well as physically. As for him having a lot materially (a nice house, nice car, etc.), that can come later. I figure if two people work together, they can acquire those things.
