About Me
It doesn't take much for me to be happy. I enjoy my life but having that special man to share life's ups and downs would be nice.. Staying healthy, and maintaining friendships is important to me. Left to myself, I love to hike with my dogs, read, cook, fish, garden, and learn what I don't know. I enjoy helping people and volunteering my time and talents. I love the home life, warm, sweet, peaceful and filled with the love of friends and family.
I embrace change and growth and understand that integrity and honor are what's important. I have learned that less, is more and it's better to want what you have than have what you want. Yet, while "less is more" it's important at this stage of our life that you, at the very least, have enough. I can hold my own finances but not yours.
One dates, one learns. What I have learned so far is, I do well with those that are, or have been, teachers, health care/EMS/fire, farmers/ranchers, and in the building trades. I also do well with high energy types. I would love to find a man that understands making love starts long before that first hot, burning, passionate kiss. I am a wood cutters daughter, still a tomboy, I can bait my own hook and clean my own fish.
We all say we want honesty, I'm no different. I will be honest here then you can decide for yourself if I might be "the one." I am 63, did that in April. Most people are surprised when I tell them my age. Not because my face is fresh and young looking, spend too much time outside for that but because of my health and attitude. I am very lucky that way. No, if you want eye candy, keep looking. If you want a woman that is kind, loving, generous of heart and spirit, who has a curious nature, is respectful of all life forms and able to go from sleep to out the door in 15 minuets, I just might be your girl.
