About Nicky
I am a financially secure, little to no baggage, mother of an adult married daughter. I'm generally optimistic have a good sense of humor look for the good in people and situations and make my living as the Executive Director of an Animal Welfare Organization. I absolutely LOVE my job and will retire in January 2015. I own a home in the woods and enjoy watching the wildlife in my backyard while I drink my morning coffee or wind down after work. I have a dog "Candie" and a cat "Charlie" both of course are very cute and they are best pals. I am a Ravens fan, enjoy meeting people and engaging in good conversations. I am a fiscally conservative socially liberal Democrat but have good Republican pals and family members.
I'm most attracted to smart, secure, confident feminine women, I have plenty of good friends but I'm looking for a special someone. I generally enjoy quiet evenings at home or time spent with friends and or family but clubs are fun too. I have little tolerance for alcohol abusers but I do drink socially. Friends and a cookout are an ideal social gathering. I'm not a Vegetarian but certainly respect those who are and enjoy home cooked Veg. meals. I'm a good "Mess Cook" clean up the mess after someone else cooks. Lol I may like cooking better after I retire.
I sometimes play golf after work (generally 9 holes) with friends and I hit just enough good shots to come back again. I used to be a jock in my younger years, coached soccer and basketball for my daughter when she was young but now I'm just an observer. (bad knees)
I would not necessarily have to live in the same residence as my partner, so long as she lived relatively close by, but I would want to spend a lot of quality time with her. I'm monogamous by nature and would want my partner to be equally committed to that concept.
Chemistry is a funny thing and you either have it or you don't so I'm under no illusion that finding that special someone will be easy but I think it may be possible so I thought I'd give this online adventure a try.
