About Me
I will freely admit to being a complicated person but its mostly in a positive way! I am a fun combination of geek, artist and jokester. I can be a very gentle, light touch or more intense. I can be optimistic to a high level despite retaining a bit of cynicism. I value friendship highly and take the time to treat my friends well.
I'm inspired by writing and writers. Music is an intense pleasure to me as well. I would love to talk to anyone who is deeply inspired by music, writing, art and theatre. I love discussions about philosophy, music and the state of the world.
I am also passionate about photography. I mostly work with black and white images and I enjoy architectural and nature photography. I'm definitely just an amateur but I'm trying to get better through practice!
In terms of my current goals I'm just working on getting more of my writing out there and securing new freelance writing contracts. I'm also busy writing poetry and doing some group writing online to hone my skills and enjoy writing with other people! Lately I've had the good fortune to land some interviews with people whom I've long wanted to talk to.
In terms of music I could use the old cliché that I listen to nearly anything. I suppose I would say my tastes run from glitchy electronica to Icelandic symphonic pop to strange music made by Mongolian nomads. I tend to seek out the different and the aurally exciting!
Basically I am looking for people who want to strike up a comfortable friendship before anything else. I like to have as many and as diverse a group of friends as possible! I don't want anyone to feel there are barriers to being friends with me.

I think that this really depends on the person and the situation. I don't tend to rigidly plan anything of that nature as really there are a lot of factors governing my decisions!
