About Me
I love classic movies and TV shows. Basically anything with a good story. I am pursuing a career in the medical field. I enjoy having a simple, quiet life without a lot of drama. I spend a lot of my spare time online, looking for things to do or taking care of my dog. I'm kinda quiet and don't talk a lot at first, but once I get to know you I open up a little more. I've been told I'm pretty funny and a smart ass.
I spend a LOT of time at the hospital. I work there and I go to school there, so it's fairly common that I spend 16-hour days taking care of patients. That being said, I do still have quite a bit of free time and often find myself sitting at home bored with nothing to do.
I read. I'm a smart guy, but I'm a bit of a slow reader. I take my time with books. I spend 2-3 weeks reading a book that a lot of avid readers could probably finish in a night or two, but I still enjoy it if it's a good book.
I'm a big movie buff. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the couch and watch a movie with someone. I try to watch all the classics, but there's still a lot I haven't seen (Jaws, Rocky, etc). I also try to watch all the movies that get nominated for Best Picture every year.
Some of my favorite things: How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, Dexter, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Pulp Fiction, Pixar, Hayao Miyazaki, Coen Brothers' movies, The Walking Dead, classic rock, Journey, John Swartzwelder books, Nintendo, dogs, pizza, ice cream, cheesecake, Mexican food, banana popsicles, peanut butter, Star Wars, Star Trek, anything nerdy.
Honesty is a big deal to me, and is the trait I value most in a person.
