About Me
I love music (just about ALL kinds, but especially Latin, Jazz, R & B and classical) and dancing and being with people, but also enjoy cozying up with a good book by the fire, especially on a rainy, cold day. Even better with a good friend. I sometimes think about all of us out there waiting to find that someone special, and think maybe we should just focus more on meeting a lot of good, nice people......one at a time, and trust that eventually, the RIGHT one will surface. Maybe? I hate the thought of wasting all these weekends waiting for the RIGHT one, and missing out on making some really good friendships. If you agree, let me know!
I work in the healthcare field and enjoy what I do. As long as I am working, I hope to keep learning and contributing so that when I'm retired I can actually feel like I made a difference and didn't waste my days. Plus, I have this feeling I may be held accountable for all this!!! Yikes.
I try hard to keep a balance between work and the other areas of life, but admittedly, this can be challenging at times! I could do a better job at socializing. So help me out here, PLEASE!?!
Unique?! Well, I actually think we're all unique, so that's a tough one. Maybe one thing would be my staying power! I have "stick-to-it-iveness" and don't typically give up easily, although some days can try that thought! I don't have as strong a need to be different from somebody else, as to be able to say at the end of each day that I did my best. And, some days, my best is better than other days!
Probably, just like everyone else on this site, what I really dream about is finding just that right person who complements me and together our "oneness" is better than our separateness. I'm ready to start hanging out! You?

First Date
Lots of options here! I'd enjoy meeting for coffee, lunch or dinner (before or after another event is ok, too) walking around the city, window shopping and people watching, head for a concert or play. Lots of good conversation, laughs, getting to know each other, and (hopefully) making plans for Next Time.
