About Me
I enjoy doing things outside. In the winter I love skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. I like to hike year round. During the warmer months, I love to take long walks on the beach at low-tide, finding sand dollars and shells. The sound the ocean makes as the waves come in is very calming and peaceful. I enjoy sitting around a campfire with friends playing my ukulele with other musicians. It's not where I go but who I'm with that gives me the most enjoyment. I also like bowling, dancing, boating, going out to eat whether it be just for pizza or to a finer place or just hanging out at home with someone special watching a DVD. I enjoy lots of different music but mostly classic and soft rock, bluegrass and Christian.
I would love to try whitewater rafting this year and am open to trying new things.
I have three grown children who are very near and dear to my heart. I love getting together with them when their schedules allow. I also enjoying time with my grandson...
Some of my favorite places to go include Fenway Park, Florida Keys, a shopping mall, the mountains and the beach.
I love being around upbeat and happy people....a good sense of humor and quick wit would be a plus.
And I suppose most importantly is the ability to communicate well and to let the little things go. A little forgiveness goes a very long way. Every relationship has its ups and downs and I am looking for someone who is able to weather the storms as well as enjoy the bliss....

First Date
On a first date I'd like to meet somewhere for a conversation, getting to know the person much better. Perhaps it could be during a walk on the beach or a small cafe somewhere.
