I traveled the world as a Navy pilot, then retired and became a successful businessman. I was asked to teach a strategic planning course at a local University and have been doing that now for 13 years. I really am a Professor.
I believe in walking softly on this earth. My religion is kindness. I live by the same values, but believe Jesus was only one of many great teachers that have walked the earth. We're all God's children.
I used to wear a silver bracelet inscribed with "Nothing is worth more than this day" (it's one of my favorite quotes from Goethe) because truly living requires being present in the moment. That said, a successful life is a balance between living each day as if it's your last and planning for the future in case it isn't.
I believe that what you do and how you do it define who you really are. Honor matters.
I believe that loving someone is a privilege, being loved is an honor and finding true love is a choice.
I believe that a sucessful relationship requires each partner going more than half way.
I work hard. I play harder. I believe that age is a state of mind; I still think I'm 42. ;-)
I'm very handy; I can fix almost anything. I'm very personable; I enjoy good conversation and am a wealth of useless knowledge.
Fitness, mental and physical, are important to me and I hope they are to you too.
Thank you for stopping by.

A glass of wine, the sunset, and the piper at Spanish Bay is a good start.
