Hey! Thanks for the stalkage. :)
Lemme see. . . I currently work in Ottawa in a field that I am very passionate about, and I can't wait to see where it takes me. I'm definitely a thinker, care endlessly about my friends and family, and I guess I'm kind of silly at heart. ;)
I love to debate/discuss the why of everything (especially the typical 'hot' topics) I was a psych major afterall ;) It's important to me to have quality people around me, so I love nothing more than spending time with my friends; from coffee to a dance floor - I always have fun. After all, if you're with the right person, even going to the grocery store is a good time. :)
I crave random adventures which usually end up with my friends and me in another city. I'm an Indian-born, American-raised, almost-Canadian, and I could eat Chinese/Japanese food every day. I was raised vegan (so I understand the "hippie" lifestyle) tho I'm not vegan anymore. Mmmmmm. . . Bacon is so good!! Erg! I also value physical fitness and overall health (as we only have one body, best not botch it). . . but I have been known to crave a huge poutine now and again.
I value confidence, self-knowledge, kindness/respect towards others, open-mindedness, and genuine passion, as these are things I've worked hard to achieve as well (Wow, I don't work for PBS I swear! Tho seems I could. lol.) I have an interesting past, which I love, and I do enjoy hearing about others'.
I don't pass judgment on people or eat with my mouth open (pet peeve). I love animals and like swimming in the winter and jogging in the summer. Life is about experience, so whether I'm jumping off 35ft cliffs into the ocean or driving a tractor, I love doing things I've never done before. :) I feel the best relationships have a base in a strong friendship, so that's typically where I like to start. I love making people laugh and appreciate when someone can do the same for me. I don't play head games and don't want to be with people who do. I also try to travel internationally at least once a year. Last year it was India and Costa Rica. This year its Florida (barely counts) and Indonesia.
Life's too short to not live every moment to the fullest. I work very hard to treat everyone I meet with kindness, which a lot of people confuse with weakness ;)
