Raising two boys has taught me to get up after a fall, wipe off the dirt and continue on. This is how I look at life. Not knowing what is ahead for us tomorrow, makes me enjoy the time I have today. I don't take anything or anyone for granted.
My boys are now grown and on their own. If you have young kids, that's perfectly fine.
I love to go camping and fishing (yes I bait my own hook). Finding a hole in the wall place and listen to a live band, a road trip with no specific place in mind and just end up where we end up, spending the day at the track watching a good race, street fairs, amusement parks, a sporting event or just time at home with friends and/or family. Please see list of interests for other things I enjoy. Not eveything has to be a thought out plan. Some of the best times I've had came up at the spur of the moment. I prefer classic rock and country music.
Due to loosing family to Cancer I'm not intrested in smokers. I can't go through loosing another person I care about/love to it. Or watch then suffer with it. If you are seriously working on quitting that is fine. Just don't smoke around me, as I don't want it either. Don't mean to sound rude, there's just no other way to put it.
Income, looks and possessions are not what make me interested in someone. That can all be taken away in a heart beat. I want someone to enjoy life with and to go through the ups and downs it gives us. All the other is just a bonus we get. I am not looking for Mr. Perfect. Just looking for the one that is perfect for me. One who knows its the little things that makes one's heart flutter, and realizes its not always fun and games. When you judge a book by its cover, you could miss out on great chapters and happy ending. If you are looking for a gal with a plastic perfect figure, you are reading the wrong profile. If you are looking for a woman that will treat you right, doesn't play games, wont try to change you, and one that is putting serious effort into finding the reason to delete her profile, send me a hello.
Listen to Reba Mc Entire's song "Somebody's Chelsea" and you will know what I'm looking for.
If you mark me as one you'd like to meet, then send me a message! Hope this finds you well and if I am not what you are looking for, may you find happiness on the end of your line.
