That being said, I admit that I am very involved in a local cat rescue and am very proud to be a part of something that changes the life of not just an animal, but that of a child, a family or an elderly person looking for companionship.
I work full-time as an emergency veterinary technician, 4 afternoon shifts/wk, which makes it difficult to find someone up after 2am to join me for a Steak N Shake :(
I also have a love for photography in which my camera is attached to me at almost all times! *say cheese* Unfortunately though, I don't have many pics of myself - I just prefer to be the one behind the lens!
When I was young, I was going to be a pop singer! Problem was, I can't sing all that well (unless i'm alone in my car...and at nite only - in which i sound fantastic ;) These days, I'm still a fan of Pop, but also Jazz, Blues, Folk, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Country ... I love going to listen to live music of almost all kinds!
I'm interested in casual dating with no expectations, however, I'm open to the possiblilty for more ...I'm not a 'party-girl' so you won't find me hanging out at a club waiting to catch your eye! I would appreciate meeting someone grounded, kind, genuine, and open to discovering life outside the daily bubble :)
