Greetings and welcome to my profile!
I am finally growing some roots! If you inquire “where from?”… I may have to ask what you mean by ‘from’. I admit I have moved 23 times in my life and the concept of ‘from’ is fairly loose. I have spent most of my life in Ontario and somewhere within the Ottawa to North Bay corridor. I have also lived on the east and west coasts of Canada, and have even resided in Europe for the early part of my life. Unfortunately I was to young to remember.
I am not into the bar scene, but enjoy getting out for other events when the opportunity arises. I prefer quiet social evenings with friends involving some form of activity or game (Cranium, Pictionary, Catan or Trivia Pursuit to name the tip of the iceburg). I also enjoy watching movies and although I firmly believe some movies are best viewed in the theatres, others are just as good at home. I prefer Sci-Fi or Fantasy films, but I watch almost anything…with the right company.
I am looking to get to know someone who is active in recreational sports as I know I really enjoy playing them and would love to share this experience with my partner. I would also enjoy getting out and enjoying the weather with you (especially winter…I love to downhill ski!). Participating in both shared and independent hobbies/interests is important to me. I think it would be great to be able to learn something from you and maybe even be able to share something with you.
I really respect the concept of marriage and look forward to finding someone to settle down with. In the meantime, I am looking for a relationship that will start off with a great friendship and develop from there.

First Date
Any activity where we can actually talk and get to know one another better. Skating on the canal in the winter to walking/rollerblading in the park in the summer. A lunch/dinner activity is a little more traditional and is also an excellent opportunity to talk and find out more about each other.
