About Me
Basically, I am looking for an intellectual partner. I live primarily in my head, my conversation heavily hypothetical and without consequence. I work an awkward schedule, getting off at 9am; a night owl is probably my kindred. I live by myself, alongside a jack russell terrier.
I am a contradiction to my stereotype; I know how to use information well but choose not to acquire it unnecessarily. I do not like to read and commonly skip through adjectives, then groups of words, then sentences, then paragraphs and just begin to assume their content by recognizing the pattern of the writer. I like profound ideas, however, and will indulge them at any chance. I choose my work on the platform that it doesn't require my full attention and that I can always be in thought about something else.
I am computer-oriented, but I think most of my thoughts are metaphysical. I have a hobby of recording music, but it's largely without a topic and open for interpretation.
So this is probably an awkward profile, but I think a similar mind will find it exciting. I'm hoping.
Some of my media interests are as follows..
musically - tori amos [pre-Scarlet's Walk], bjork, pj harvey, radiohead, bush, boards of canada, joanna newsom
visually - what dreams may come, the science of dreams, medium, hypercube, melancholia, girl interrupted

First Date
I would want to base it on something unique/bizarre/particular that we share in common. Just for us to engage in that activity, no matter how trivial and unlike a date it is. & In that time, when we're both excited to be doing something we love, we can start to see eachother & know that being with eachother would never mean sacrifice - just being ourselves.
