A few words of an update. My kid is finally out of high school, and it is time to assist him in the next 2 years of his higher education. I am so glad he as decided to get a 4 year degree here in SA! He is my only child, and I know that in 3 or 4 years from now, he will leave me since he has already set his goals.
I have truly been blessed and I hope to find someone to get to know between now and then. Being that he is college now means I will be able to spend more time doing volunteer work and working with my community.
In addition, I will have more time to travel to State Parks for hiking and exploring new small local towns. Hope you are the kind of man who can enjoy hiking for along period of time and appreciate peace and quite out in nature or even overnight camping.
Like to meet someone who enjoys outdoors and is a faithful bible study person or at least attends services weekly. I do both, so no high expectations of me seeking to find me a pastor or decon... just a good christian gentleman

Wow..almost a year since I have not been here. Meet someone last year in March, and just never came back in here. I have not been in a relationship for over 4 years.
Currently studying John chapters 2 and 3 this weekend. I have a strong belief and do not push it on others, but I like to share my friendship knowing we have that in common. Faith in God.
If you have a membership at the YMCA, let me know.. maybe we can workout together or at least have that in common too. I do seek a friend who is willing to be encouraged to workout and meet goals, as well as encourage me to work out and meet my goals. Sometimes it is not easy doing it alone, but we all can meet our goals in time.
It is almost that time again for the Military Parade!!!
Maybe see you all out there!
I enjoy the outdoors such activities such as swimming, fishing, camping, and hiking. Last year my top adventure was running through a storm with lightening to see if my camping partner was okay. I had left to go wash off while they completed cooking. A storm came up expected and just pour down heavy. I stayed safe under a building, but was thinking...why am I not being pick me up? I was about 1/2 a mile away, but the storm was pretty bad. I thought...maybe they got hurt and no one around them or outside to see if they are hurt..so I ran. I go to tent (under a tree..I was thinking...not!), and no one was not there. All I heard was What you doing here!! out of no where.
Long story short.... left the tent and got into the truck where I got to see lightening hit a tree near us, and cut it in half. That was my adventure last summer. After that night, there could be no better adventure than the Summer Storm.
Single and my kid in college. I have worked for many years and if I can just hold out five more years at work. I will finally get to travel more and enjoy life. Some people call it retirement. I call it a new lifestyle.
What are you doing nowadays?
Oh...btw.. I am actually 50, and not 40. Sorry, but can't seem to update profile age.
It it that time again for the Military Parade!
Hope to see you out there!
Studying 2 Peter for next few weeks. This week is Chapter 1
More updates soon
Also.... Looking for volunteers to help with registration at the ABGC of TX registration tables at the Convention Center
July 14 - July 16
Please contact via email for details if you are SERIOUS about helping out.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
May 2014 - 1st Date - Put Put, Swing a few golf balls at the range, batting range, firing range, Clay Casa, or even the zoo or a hiking trail at one of the many parks in the area.
FIRST DATE: Dinner, pool game, bowling, or something like the zoo or swimming with this heat.
Since I do not do the bar/club thing nor do I drink (but maybe 3x a year), my first date would be a place where we can talk and see each others body language to get a good feel of the date. Shoot pool, play mini-golf, volunteer at a fund raiser/festival, or something like the zoo or the gardens.
I would like to do something fun and that involves a little competition or at least a good game of pool. I do not drink, but water is always good for you!
I would like to meet someone in their mid 30's to early 40's. A gentleman who has "faith" in everyday, no matter how good or rough the day may have been.
If you can get up and say.. Let's go to
What's The Name of that State Park for a 3 to 7 hour
hike... then we will have a great start! Please be real and honest with your emails.
Thank you for reading to the end, and I hope you find what you are seeking in life to make you happy!
