About Me
My life has a lot to be thankful for: I have a small but loving family including nephews that I adore, I have great life-long friends who love me; I live in a great place with a roommate I actually like; and I have growing opportunities to work on projects that I am passionate about. The one thing I really do miss is having that special someone awesome to celebrate it all with.
Because I'm working on two careers, I do tend to be a busy person. I'm not saying that boastfully - being busy isn't always a good thing, but if you're looking for someone who will be home every night after work, that isn't me. I do, however, make special effort to find quality time with the people I care about, and to do some of the myriad amazing things there are to do in this world.
I am about halfway through completing a '101 things in 1001 days' list. It's going well, but there are many more things to complete on it, and I'm always keen on having someone join me in checking another one off. So far this winter I have checked off #14 - go snowshoeing, #39 - attend the ballet, #53 - participate in a clothing exchange, #82 - go stormwatching in Tofino, and am working on a few more.
Some random bits about me...
I`m not a great chef, but an excellent sous-chef.
I am fiercely loyal.
I once flew to Ireland, rented a car, and drove around the circumference. It was awesome.
I rarely listen to classical music, even though I'm a classical musician.
I don't eat red meat (except bacon because...it's delicious) but don't care if you do.
I really miss having a dog. My last two were a Newfoundlander and a Rottweiler.
I have a weakness for tall men with bright eyes.
I am often mistaken for younger than I am. Let's assume it's the moisturizer I use and not my behaviour that makes that happen.
