Hey there, welcome to my profile!
I'm a director for animated Kids cartoons. I was promoted just last year and it's everything I expected/hoped it would be. I really enjoy the aspect of working with other minds to achieve a singular vision. In the future, I hope to start working on some of my own projects and bring them to fruition.
I love to read. I always have a book on the bus when going to and from work. And when I get hooked in a series, almost every other form of entertainment gets completely forgotten! =P
I also really enjoy movies. Working in animation, I really enjoy cartoons. They are a good source of inspiration as well as entertainment. I also really like horror movies, especially campy 80's horror and Zombie flicks(Grade 8 Halloween party at school changed me for life!). Also, I'll take any action, sci-fi and thriller. I guess I'm cool with pretty much any kind of movie out there.
I'm big into videogames. To me, they are just another form of entertainment so I have no problems putting them down and hanging out with people. I tend to like the story driven games the most. Like any good movie, something that leaves me thinking and wanting even more.
In terms of TV shows, I like British panel shows(Nevermind the Buzzcocks), British comedies(The IT Crowd) and British mysteries(Sherlock). It was funny when I assessed my tastes and came to that realization. Other shows include House, Haven, The 4400, Community, The Venture Bros.
I like all sorts of music. Anything from orchestral to heavy metal. I'm not big on country, but I've hung around my aunts and uncles enough times to build up a tolerance for it. I prefer classic rock, mainly, or anything that gets my toes tapping and knees bobbing. I'm almost always going to a concert every couple of months.
