I'm both a lover and a fighter, a wizard of sarcasm, a poet (or at least, I try), a philosopher, an insomniac, a graduate of the school of hard knocks, an old soul, a skeptic and a believer, a coffee junkie, a nerd, the best damn cupcake baker in the 305, a sucker for cute boys in glasses, a little kid in a grown woman's body, a realist, a defender of the underdog, an all-around badass.
love spoken word, passionate speakers, Hip Hop, comedy, boxing, cold weather, mafia and gangster movies, Dexter, tomatoes, Dave Chappelle, Poetry, really good concerts that last all day, rock music, road trips, traveling, really good coffee, and even more importantly-really GOOD microbrew or import beer, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Janis joplin, Outkast, Radiohead, Bob Marley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sade, Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, Bjork, Jay-Z, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Biggie, Fiona Apple, Roberta Flack, Jimi Hendrix, Common, Adele and so many more; having stimulating conversation with brilliant people, documentaries, art, Almodovar films, standing for a cause that will change the world, singing in the shower, laughing til it hurts, very sexy music that sets the vibe, hanging out with laid back people in quaint little pubs, my family, my friends, writing, writing, writing.
I'm not here looking for the perfect man...I'm looking for the man that is perfect for me. He would be smart (brains are way hotter than braun), not funny...but HILARIOUS, Laid back/a little bohemian, creative, open minded, VERY sarcastic (it's sexy), mellow-vibed, lighthearted, SUPER down to earth, not at all pretentious, INTENSE, INTENSE, INTENSE (when it matters), confident, a man who can paint a vivid picture with only carefully chosen words (not to be mistaken for a playa' with "game") and most importantly: someone who isn't afraid to truly be themselves around me. (and Bonus points if you are a fellow beer connoisseur lol) Sounds too specific, huh? Well, I find that in this lifetime you gotta know what you want and it will find you. :)

And also, to those of you who think plagiarizing my profile is a good idea, come up with something original ya' scoundrels! Ugh! The NERVE! ::steps off soapbox::
