About Me
I worked as a project manager for several years before recently going out on my own to develop a startup company that manufactures merchandise and exhibit displays. I love the outdoors and like to hike, canoe, and enjoy just getting away from it all and feeling centred again by spending time outside. I am committed to a regular workout routine 3 times a week that involves weight training and swimming. In summer I try to get down to Kitsilano outdoor pool to swim distances and lay in the sun and relax.
For years I always had dogs, but live in Burnaby with my cat "Gus" (and has convinced me that cats are great companions too!) I am well read and extremely curious about ideas and developments in the world. I don't watch much TV, but I keep up on good movies and also enjoy live theatre.
My goal for this year is to get my business rolling under its own steam, at least long enough to take a break and vacation and visit friends in Mexico, or Thailand (though I've also thought it would be nice to visit Montreal in the summer, hike Utah, or even fly in and paddle the Stikine River... so, lots of ideas ... but nothing firm yet).
