I'm not from UPS, but I'm a great package!
The glue that sustains my passions is my sense of humor. Having always been a fan of watching stand-up comedy, I went to comedy clubs four nights a week when I first came to California. At the top of my list of best comedians are Jerry Seinfeld and Robin Williams.
Taking a variety of classes, including physical workouts and spiritual groups, keeps me busy. I like to attend ballroom dances to practice the precision of a beautiful waltz as well as the fun of an east-coast swing, because those dances make me feel elegant and energetic. It will be a bonus if you like to dance.
Being at home reading is very pleasurable. "How to" and self-improvement types of books inspire me; not a week goes by that I'm not jotting down notes from the Dalai Lama; learning about holistic living; or reading the philosophies of great minds.
One can still observe remnants of my East coast upbringing, though I moved to California in 1972. I retired after a career in customer service, having earned the dubious honor of being known as "best person to calm down irate customers."
For those of you in service of others, I have great admiration if you do volunteer work, and am currently seeking volunteer work.
There is nothing more attractive than a mature, protective man who has interests and projects of his own, and who also wants to share in my life, while opening his life to me. In the blending of our lives, we'll have open, give-and-take communication. It will be fun to compare our tastes in music; and, do you enjoy traveling?
Don't be shy, I invite you to drop me a line!
