An unfinished love story
Want to finish it together?
I am an expat and permanent resident here and am eligible for citizenship so no drama there. I have a great, loving and supportive family back home in England. In the absence of my biological family I have formed a really close circle of friends who have become my support network and adopted family inside and outside of work.
I have been working with the same company for almost 10 years. I really love what I do and the people I work with, these guys are my family. I love to train the new hires and have been doing so since the beginning I believe that a strong team needs to be encouraged and empowered and I strive my best to support our junior teammates .
I have recently been involved in the Pursuit charity raising money for the center in Houston supporting those with learning difficulties I met with some really great people and made new friends. A truly inspiring experience .
Practical, down to earth and sometimes way to honest (don't ask for something you don't want to hear the answer to). I take care of my responsibilities first. But I love to have fun. I cycle, love movies (mostly action adventure and sci-fi), camping, going out to eat with my friends and live music.
Nothing really beats being outdoors for me unless it happens to be really wet and cold. When that happens you will find me on the sofa with a book or a movie - sometimes both! For me cycling is my go to sport. I also like to camp and get out in the fresh air.
I am more of a morning person I like to get moving either for work or on weekends for a ride or run. So I usually wake up with a good amount of energy!
I like food and will try most things but my favorite is a good fish and chips! I am still trying to find the best in Houston. Maybe you can help?
As far as travel goes I am from England moved here 11 years ago and love it. I have travelled to Germany and an overnight explore of Amsterdam I plan to go back there, it is a beautiful city. I definitely want to explore more of the US (must see redwoods) and am planning a trip to Thailand this fall.
Love Star Wars so if you know who Shot First then great! My favorite animated movie is How to Train Your Dragon.
I place a lot of value in a good friendship, honesty, loyalty and kindness. I give as much as I can to my friends and when they need me I am there. As such sometimes I need down time to recharge.
I am also looking for someone who has matured enough to be financially responsible. If you live check to check chances are it won't work. It would be great if you share these values.
Instead of "going on a date" let's just do something we both are into. Enjoy doing the thing and see if we click? No pressure just get out of the house and do something.
