About Me
I'm a small town guy born and raised that also appreciates the fun to be had in the big city.

I'm a bit old fashioned and believe in holding doors, saying please and thank you, and most of the other cultural etiquette that seems to be a dying breed.

While I don't have any children of my own, I am blessed with two awesome nephews that I think the world of.

I am huge fan of watching movies, especially cheesy horror flicks that are as much comedy as scary.

I also really like playing video games and board games with my friends, although I can get competitive at times. (nobody likes to lose right?)

I love to shoot billiards, go bowling, throw darts, and play Foosball.

Some people give me flak that I still watch professional wrestling on a pretty regular basis, but it's no worse than soap operas or reality television in my eyes.

I'm not a total couch potato though and like to do outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, camping, and just enjoy nature in general.

I am a big fan of museums and aquariums and love learning new interesting things about the world we live in.

I love the paranormal (ghost hunting) and am part of a local investigation group called SPF101.

I can be a bit sarcastic at times and like being around people who can dish it out as well as take it when it comes to poking fun.

I'm the type of person who is still a kid at heart, but knows how to be a grown up as well.

I've been a vegetarian for over eight years and really enjoy doing my own cooking. (It's okay if you eat meat around me though, I'm not one of those types.)

I don't really pigeon hole myself when it comes to music, I have found things in every genre that I enjoy, so I guess you'd call my taste "eclectic"

I work full time at a bar, so while I do enjoy the occasional drink, I am not big on spending my free time in them.

I have a Quaker parrot and two guinea pigs, so if you're scared of/allergic to/or noise sensitive, I'm probably not the right person to talk to as they are my kids.

I'm also tend to be a bit shy, so don't be afraid to say hi first, I'd like to get to know some new people.

First Date
I like to keep first dates kind of low key.

I feel the point is to actually spend time just getting to know one another, so if you plan something too crazy busy it doesn't leave much time for talking.

Something a little competitive is always fun though. Mini golf, billiards, bowling, etc. Nothing beats a little friendly trash talk and witty banter.
