Hi, my name is Ken, (former Coast Guardsman). The number 22 just keeps reoccurring in my day to day activities...home address, apartments, for example, I once worked at Screen Gems as a photographer for the soap opera "Edge of Night" in NYC, the address was 222 E.44th street. You see what I mean? You might have a favorite number too.
I was raised by a grandmother and a single parent (sculptor) mom (both now deceased). They taught me to always cherish women. I'm also all about empowering women, I've been fortunate to work with some of the best, like Jane Goodall, Mary Robinson, Maya Angelou, Michelle Bachelet, Angelique Kidjo and Yoko Ono. My grandmother (Anne C. Jefferson) was an early suffragette from Philadelphia who became one of the first female English professors at Cornell University. She fought 94 years ago for women to have the right to vote. Her husband, my grandfather was a Naval architect. Many of his ship designs are on display at a museum in Newport News, VA. I'm very proud of my families historical contributions.
I live in NY and Pennsylvania and work in Manhattan and Philly. I can go from a black tie affair to a flea market without missing a beat. I do enjoy many of the good things in life: theater, dinner, galleries and museums. But, I can also camp or just stay at home, cook and be comfortable doing nothing at all. In other words, sometimes I need to unwind and rejuvenate. But, I'm no couch potato! Besides, If there are to be children included in our mix, what better way could quality time be spent together? I've raised three sons and I've loved being a parent to them. I enjoy playing baseball, soccer and basketball with family and friends. My backyard in PA has been transformed into a Spring Training Camp with a batting cage and pitcher's mound/bull pen. My youngest son wants to play for MLB. Patrick lives most of the time in NYC with his mother, but we have joint custody. I travel around the U.S. these days photographing sporting events, mostly baseball, track & field and some wildlife imaging. Have you ever wanted to learn photography? I taught it as an adjunct professor at Wagner College and would be happy to share what I know.
I've worked for the last decade as a television director at the United Nations. Recently I formed my own LLC. Now, I produce radio programs, write screenplays and shoot documentary films. It seems like a whole new career direction is before me. I enjoy photography, sports, comedy improv and films with great dialogue. "Somethings Got To Give"', is a great example."Moneyball" is another. It's best to be flexible with our schedules and be open minded to each others ideas and needs. Controlling someone is not my idea of a good time... I'm sure, it's not yours either. Professionally, I'm at the top of my game. Now, I hope to find my elusive life long partner. Where is this mysterious woman? I love dogs, cats, birds and all animals!
I'm an attentive and romantic man who enjoys intimacy and affection. I truly love kissing, holding hands and late night embraces. If you want to feel loved and protected, I'm that kind of guy. Finding the right partner in life is a little like running in a 5K challenge or marathon... worth it in the end!
Coffee, lunch, dinner or wine tasting at a nearby vineyard, antiquing or flea marketing, drive to New Hope, Clark's Summit PA, NJ or NYC with the top down & maybe catch a civic theater play. Have you ever gone on a photo safari? I have lots of cameras... We can figure this one out together.
