About Me
Hi! I enjoy writing music. I like going out with friends and singing karaoke. I enjoy seeing live bands. My major at UC Santa Cruz was marine biology and now I teach science at a middle school (love my job). Scuba diving is my favorite hobby, but I haven't gone diving in a while (need to remedy that). I'm real and not out to try and impress someone. If you are looking for someone to talk about their money and how great they are... I recommend any bar in Newport. I work out regularly. I have a service dog named Holly and she goes everywhere with me. I broke my neck when I was 18. Although the doctors told me I'd never walk again, I said "Watch me". Having had so many experiences outside the norm has given me a rather unique perspective on life. I generally hang out in south OC, but venture out to LA and San Diego once in a while. It's possible to find me at Cook's Corner on a Sunday afternoon hanging out with friends and listening to live music. I enjoy traveling. Exercise is such an important part of my life. It is key to me being able to do all the fun activities I like to do. Recently, I have started horseback riding with horsesforexercise.com in San Jaun Capistrano. It's been amazing! I'm just starting to learn surfing also.

First Date
I think a first "date" should be something casual. Like getting a coffee in Laguna Beach. Something that offers the opportunity to talk and get to know a person. I'm really not into chatting or texting... I don't think you can really tell if you are going to get along with someone until you meet in person. I enjoy getting a coffee anyway, so a chance to get to know someone and talk while enjoying a coffee seems like a no brainer. If we get along well, then we can talk about a date. If there's no chemistry, well we had a nice chat and some coffee... no hurt feelings. Speaking of chemistry, I'm looking for an exothermic reaction.
