I guess I'd consider myself to be a confident but easy going kind of girl... I'm not high maintenance and I don't care for drama or games. I'm not looking for a man in my life to "complete" me, rather I'd like to find someone who "compliments" me; someone that I consider my best friend and a relationship that brings out the best in both people. That being said, I also understand that relationships take hard work and that no one is perfect.
My hope is to eventually find a genuine, respectful, honest, compassionate man with a strong sense of self who is looking for a meaningful relationship. I have an appreciation for unique individuals with a creative side, including expression through visual art, music, writing, tattoos, etc. My bright, funny, energetic son is my life and will always come first, but I do believe in parents having their own life too.
I love music, mainly rock from the 70's to present day (not much into country, sorry), and especially enjoy going to concerts and checking out the local music scene. I'm also happy just hanging out at home watching a movie and snuggling up on the couch. I love traveling as well, even if it's just a short road trip. I took an awesome trip to England last fall and am really hoping to travel in Europe more in the future.
If you're interested in getting to know me and/or meeting me send me a message! I wish I could respond to everyone but I don't want this to turn into a full-time job, lol :) I do read every message though. Extra points if you know how to spell, have decent grammar, have at least two good pics of yourself (preferably not holding something dead), and send a message that includes more than just "Hi", etc. Also, if I've added you as a "Favorite" that means I'd like to get to know you better... I'm just a bit old-fashioned and prefer the guy to make the first move by initiating the conversation.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Something casual like meeting for coffee or an adult beverage, playing pool (although get ready to get your ass kicked by a girl), and/or checking out live music is usually good, but I'm always open to other ideas. I think it should be something fun and relaxed without a lot of pressure; something that provides a good opportunity to talk and get to know one another better.
