About Me
Ok, I find it kind of weird writing these things but I’ll give it a shot! I’m a 34 year old Health and Safety Consultant. I’m one of those lucky people who actually love their job. As much as I love it, I obviously love my time off more and when I’m off, I’m off. I think it’s important to love what you do, but it’s equally important to be able to leave work at work. I’m a pretty active guy. I enjoy most sports and I exercise regularly as I think it’s extremely beneficial both mentally and physically to stay in shape. I enjoy cooking and I eat whole natural, organic foods as much as possible. I love food and I'm very open minded about trying new/different kinds of food. I enjoy being outdoors and getting out to the mountains, but I also very much enjoy just relaxing at home. I love music. I spend a lot of my spare time writing and playing my own songs. Writing and singing is my favorite way to express myself. I am a very motivated, goal oriented person and I believe that personal growth is essential to our happiness. All living things follow the same rule: if you’re not growing, you’re dying. You may notice that I just wrote “you’re” not “your”. For some reason, that seems to be impressive to most people LOL It’s not rocket science people! While personal growth is very important to me, equally important is being grateful for the many things I am already blessed with. There are so many things in this life that we are so lucky to have, and I feel that most people don’t take the time to really, truly appreciate these things. My belief is that if you don’t appreciate the things that you already have, then you probably don’t deserve whatever it is that you’re dreaming about now. Sorry if that sounds harsh ;) I believe in having confidence in yourself and going after what you want, so if you’re the type that sits around feeling sorry for yourself and blaming the world for your problems, then we probably won’t hit it off. While I am motivated and chasing goals is a part of my everyday life, don’t worry, I also know how to relax too. I think that it’s important to have a balance between achieving and enjoying. I love to travel. I backpacked Europe and visited 4 countries while I was there and am looking forward to getting back there to see more. I have a lot of places to travel on my bucket list, and it would be nice to have someone to share these travels with. I am definitely looking for someone who is over the whole club scene. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy going out with friends and having some drinks, but my dance clubbing, party all night days are behind me. I’m more of a pub kind of guy. I am a loyal, honest man and I value loyalty, honesty and open communication in a partner. I have a big heart and treat everyone in my life with love and respect, and I’m looking for someone who carries themselves in the same manner. If that sounds like you, drop me a line :) Oh, and for all you ladies who say in your profile that guys shouldn’t bother even writing you if all they have to say is “hi” or “how’s it going?” get over yourselves! Last time I checked, those are both perfectly acceptable ways to start a conversation. By the way, about 99% of all messages I receive on here from woman start that way! I know you’re probably just looking for a way to distinguish who you would like to talk to out of the thousands of messages you receive, but I wouldn’t be too quick to judge a person by their opening line. You might just miss out on the best thing that could’ve been!
